Wildlife Photography Days

Glasdir Exhibition Centre or Wepre Park

Glasdir Exhibition Centre

Plas yn Dre, Llanrwst

Conwy, LL26 0DF.  North Wales.

Next Course - Sat. May 6th 2017 10:00am-4:00pm

This 1 day event is run by Laurence Clark and Amy Green.  It takes place at the Glasdir Business Centre where Laurence has had a permanent exhibition of wildlife photos for a number of years.  We will have experts on hand to answer your questions about the local wildlife and advise you on how to get more involved with nature in your area.  Amy has worked for several years in wildlife conservation with AONB and North Wales Wildlife Trust.

The photographic topics including a solid technical understanding of a digital camera, the functioning parts and the different types, wildlife tips and techniques, many examples of quality wildlife images with explanations of how they were achieved.  During the day we will have opportunities to practise what we've learnt with plenty of advice.

You will get to practise your photographic technique on various creatures and plants we find along the river Conwy and your tutor Laurence will be on hand the whole day to advise you on using your camera to achieve the best results.  You do not need an expensive DSLR but we do recommend a good hybrid style camera as a minimum.  You will appreciate the differences in cameras and lenses during the course and also get to understand camera trap devices.

Our students have taken some amazing photos on our previous courses which have been in north and south Anglesey as well as Wepre Park, Deeside.  The next Wepre Park course is April 22nd 2017.
